We drove down to Toppenish to look at the world famous murals. Most of my kids really enjoyed it. Aunt Jana and Uncle Karl volunteered to stay with Papa so Grandma could come with us. It was a special treat cause she told a lot of stories about when she and Papa were living there with Lonny and Danny and I think Scott may have been born too, I am not sure.
Kaw-liga. Of course grandma is singing.
Ashley petting a wolf.
Watch out!!!! Here comes the horses!!!
Run Ashley run. Jason would not play along.
The train museum was closed on Mondays. So Jason had the great idea to make a train. Dad is the black engine and Grandma is the Kaboose.
It was a fun day.

A great day of boating on the lake
Ashley was pretty much a permanent fixture right there in that spot. She liked to turn around and face the front and then put her arms out and be "Queen of the world". She had so much fun boating.
Jason also had so much fun. He could do this all day every day.
Here is Jason doing his Flynn Rider smolder. I think he is cuter:)
Uncle Karl took us to jump off a bridge. Something we had not done before. At this point Jason is pretty sure he is going to jump.
Here he is pretty sure he will never jump. Nathan is trying to tell him he can do it.
Then he finally went. He had to turn around and face front. He would not jump backwards. He did not want to stop jumping once he did it the first time.

grandma's pool
We were missing Grandma's pool so James and the kids went to buy one. I know it is not quite the same but it was fun anyway
Micheal and Ashley were making the traditional whirl pool when Gus decided he wanted in on the action.
Even Aunt Nancy got in on the action.
Then we decided we needed pictures of the pool spot. They all had to pretend to swim in the pool one last time. Nathan always did like to be under water.

Fort Simcoe
Apparently there is a fort in central Washington that was used during the Indian wars. It looked like it was now a camp ground and there may have been some water on the property somewhere but there was also a huge sign that said "Bear Warning" and my family was not brave enough to adventure too far off.
Jason and Ashley are seeing what it would be like to be a prisoner.
This was the soldiers barracks.
Unfortunaly the fort was not officially open on Mondays (we were having bad luck in that department) so some of the builings like the officers houses were not open. But we could look in the windows at some pretty fun stuff.
