 The traditional handing out of sibling gifts and having to say something nice about the person you are giving it to.

 Allison is so proud that she thought of two things to say  nice about Jason

 The kids slept in until almost eight.  That has NEVER happened before.  I think it is because the person who usually is up before 6 is in Washington DC.

 Ashley danced at the Dicken's festival.  They had live reindeer.  This one was eating tinsel so I tried to pull it out of its mouth.  It stomped its feet and huffed at me.  I guess reindeer like tinsel.

 Allison made a family of snowmen.  They were so cute no one would eat them.

 I asked Allison what she wanted to do for her birthday and she said she wanted to set up the Christmas tree....So we did.

 Maggie loves the tree.  A little too much.  She climbs it and eats it and then sleeps under it.

Allison's 17th birthday and Ashley 11th birthday. Happy Birthday girls.

 Grandma got her a very cute skirt.

 Ashley got magnetics for her birthday.  She can make some amazing things.

 She got a new purple scripture bag.

On Ashley's birthday we went to see the opening night of Allison's play so instead of cake and ice cream we had milkshakes from Chick fil A.

 She loves smiley happy faces so we made smiley faced cupcakes

 They ate pizza.

 And Just danced.

 They made up skits.

 Then watched them on the ipad.

 They sang happy birthday.

 And made headbands.

 And then opened presents.  They also played apples to apples and the stomping balloon game.

She had a fun birthday party.  We had it early because it was the only time we had to do it.
