Jason turned 10 yesterday and I will post all his pictures and tell about it all later. Right now I have limited time and I wanted to say congratulations to Allison!! She got Lion of the quarter at West Jordan Middle School. It is a big honor. One of her teachers has to nominate her and then all her teachers have to agree that she deserves it. I got to go to her school and have breakfast. Then they presented her with a trophy(picture to come later) and a book that had a note from all her teachers. They all had super nice things to say about her. One even wanted to adopt her. So congratulations Allison--We love you.

Spring Break

This was my first spring break in nine years that I did not have everyone else's kids at my house. Not that they are not missed, but it was so nice to sleep in and stay in pajamas, get a little laundry done, go to the library, go to the zoo, the movie, and visit Dad at work(yum).
It was nice to have conference this weekend also. It was so nice and relaxing and gave us all a chance to recharge. By the end of conference though Jarin and Allison and I were wondering if maybe Heavenly Father is a little worried about this rising generation and how well their parents are teaching them. I know it hit home with me and made me want to try harder to make sure my children's testimonies are strong.
Coloring Easter eggs was a little sad. They did it by themselves with no mess. I guess my kids are growing up.
Jarin and Allison hid the eggs for the hunt. It is fun to see them becoming friends and enjoying each others company.
Hunting for eggs. Jason says he will never be too big to hunt for Easter eggs.

We bought these eggs that were hollowed out and then had confetti put in them. We couldn't figure out what to do with them. Then James said "Hey Jarin go get your bat!". I wish I would have gotten a picture of Jarin's face. It is hard to see but the confetti would fly. Allison thinks it should be a new tradition.

We gave Roxi the ham bone. She loved it and would not leave it alone until she had picked it clean.
