Jarin had his end of the year wrestling banquet this week. He received the "Outstanding JV wrestler of the year" award.  This in itself was awesome.  He really made huge improvements the four years he wrestled.  But the thing about him winning this award that I thought was impressive was in what his coach said about him.  He said that Jarin impressed him so much and that he admired Jarin.  He talked about how he stuck with wrestling and worked so hard all four years even when he did not make varsity he still gave every practice and every match his all. He admired his determination and dedication.  While the coach was saying these things I thought about my dad and how those attributes in his grandson would have made him more proud then Jarin taking first in the Varsity State Tournament.
