I tried to not color eggs this year but everyone got really mad at me so we colored eggs.  It was fun and very mellow and I was thinking how nice it was to color eggs with "big" kids.  We were almost done and I started cleaning up and I accidentally knocked the glass with the yellow egg dye in it over.  It got on the table, floor, our feet, the crayons and all over my clothes.  We laughed pretty hard because that was the first time that has ever happened and I did it.

Every year Jarin makes an egg just like this one so this year we did it for him.

The Easter Bunny brought Jason and Ashley cross bows.  They had a lot of fun shooting each other.

Jason's birthday

Nuts for a nut
A remote control ball that is controlled by your hand.
Some game that I can't ever remember but that has a really long name that you play on the computer.
Comic Con tickets for three days

Jason's birthday dinner

James bought some crab legs and cooked them outside on the BBQ
 Jason was in heaven .
Stanley really wanted some crab also.

Ashley had a little dance competition in Lehi.  We went out to eat at Thanksgiving point before the awards ceremony.  Her dance made it into the top 15 of about 200 who got to dance again for the special gala.  The two dances from our studio who went  to that got this trophy.  The pictures are from my phone and so not good.

sweethearts

One of Ashley's little friends (Sarah) will be moving at the end of this month.  All her other friends were so sad that they decided to throw her a going away party.  And they made it a surprise going away party.  They made the decorations, planned all the activities and planned the treats.  Ashley also made invitations and passed them out before really even talking to me!!!  It was really fun and they were super cute.

Grandma's cinnamon rolls

Grandma Townsend came to stay with us for three months.  It has been so fun to have her here.  She is so cute and feisty and she is also so sweet and brings out the best in all of us (except maybe her ornery daughter.) Allison really wanted to learn how to make grandma's cinnamon rolls so yesterday they made some.

When the rolls started to rise my kids kept saying "it smells like grandma's house"  Grandma's house is a very special place to my kids.  For Jarin and Allison when someone says go to your happy place they always go to grandma's house.  We have such good, warm fuzzy memories of her house.

They turned out awesome. They tasted and smelled and looked just as they should.  Thank-you grandma for teaching her this.  Thanks for all the happy memories.  Thanks for all the help you have been for the last 3  months (and my entire life) and thanks for putting up with this Jensen family that is most often no where near perfect.  We will miss her and we hope she is brave enough to come back for another extended visit.
