Jarin' s missionary farewell

 Jenny and Jon and their family surprised us by showing up before church.  It was fun to have all the from Utah cousins here also.  Jarin was a little afraid he may die while giving his talk.  He did a very nice job.

He did  not die and now it is off to Washington DC!!!

Alice in wonderland

 Ashley performed in the ballet Alice this weekend.  She was a red rose.  Her friend Bailey was a bee.  They did a fabulous job.  It was a very fun experience.

Easter 2013

 Ashley finally let Allison do her hair.  It is so cute.  I wish she would let us do her hair more often but she likes it "flat down" the best.

 Ever since we moved into this house Jarin has wanted a flag to fly on our flag pole.  Since he is going to the nation's capital on his mission he decided now would be a great time to bring one home.

 He got his sisters and brother so excited that they all had to come out and help set it up.

TADA!!  Our house is now a home.  It has a tramp AND a flag.

My Dad

My dad passed away this afternoon.  I love my dad.  He was always a great example of how this life should be lived.  He taught me how to work hard, have respect for people and things, and how to love and live the gospel of Jesus Christ fully.  I loved watching football and jeopardy with him.  I loved to work out in the apple orchard with him and listen to him sing songs and tell stories.  I love how he could let me know I had disappointed him with only a look. I love that when I was growing up I thought he knew everything about anything and that he could fix anything.  I am very lucky to have him for a dad and I am thankful for everything he taught me.  Love you dad!!!

West Jordan High School National Honor Society 2013

Here is Allison and a few of her friends that were inducted into the National Honor Society on Wednesday night.  So proud of Allison and all she does.  She is an amazing young woman.

Snoopy gingerbread houses

 Jason was sick the week before Christmas.  He did not feel like doing alot of our activities.  Just so you all know the bottle on the table is Ashley's root beer.

 So this is just for my memory.  Jason only likes to wear one sock.  It is always the right one.  Why? Who knows.  But I have a little boy in my class who has to wear his right sock the right way and his left sock in-side-out.  I love these kids and their little quirks.

 Allison and her cat Maggie.  She is getting so big.  She is a little hyper and naughty sometimes but all her cute moments make up for it.  Allison says she is still the best birthday present ever.

Here is one of her not so great moments but it was too funny that her entire head fit inside the glass.
