Jason and Ashley and I had a Friday off a few weeks ago. It was fun to be home with just the little ones. They are easily entertained. Jason was excited because this is the first snowman he ever made all by himself(with Ashley).

Here are the girls in their new Sunday outfits. Allison's looks peachy in these pictures but it is really more of a hot pink.

Jason at Karate promotion. They are now doing it at a middle school on the stage. Jason was so excited(and very nervous) to be on a stage for the very first time. When he got done he said "now I am just like every one else" I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. So he told me everyone else had been on a stage but him--now he is like everyone else. I did not want to tell him that he is definately a one of a kind kind of person.

I looked out the window and what did I see?

Jarin is so ready for baseball so he talked Jason into pitching to him. Jason did a pretty good job. It made me excited for baseball and nice warm spring weather. The ball doesn't go too well in the snow. Good thing Jarin hits them high and far.

And here is Allison looking all spring-y. Is it too early to get spring fever? I think I have it.

A good week in the Jensen household

Allison tried out for concert choir on Tuesday after school. It was her first time ever trying out for anything and she was a little nervous. She did not get to find out if she made it until Friday morning. (Friday is a late start so it was driving us all crazy). But she made it!! She was so excited. Her singing ability diffinately does not come from my side of the family.

Then there was a big wrestling tournament this weekend. One of the best in the state. Jarin was not scheduled to go but because some wrestlers did not make grades he got bumped up to JV statis and ended up going. He was not all that excited because it was about an hour and a half away and it meant long hours at the tournament and long hours on the bus. He was also unexcited because the toughest wreslters from Utah, Idah,o and Wyoming come to this tournament. We were able to get cheap hotel reservations so that made him a little happier. He ended up looking really good. He pinned two of the four guys he wrestled and lost one by a very close margin making him place seventh in a tournament of eighteen. Way to go Jarin!!

some updates

This is me with my Christmas present. I was just telling my mom how much I wanted this certain kind of camera but how I would never have a camera that nice. I was so shocked when I opened my present from James and this is what he got me. We never buy presents for each other and he kept saying that he bought me something but that it was just small and that it was really for the entire family. I am here to testify that Christmas wishes do come true. Thank-you James!!!!(And from now on my pictures will look better on my blog)
Roxi had a good Christmas and got a lot of new toys to chew and throw around.

Christmas jammies. It is hard to find matching ones. This is as close as I got.

Fast and easy buckeyes. My girls helped me make them this year and it took less then half the time it usually takes. I used to make them when everyone was at school and I would be so sick of them when I was done that I hated the smell of peanut butter and chocolate for months. This was so much better. Thank-you girls!!

Our Christmas tree. It is one of the funny little ones with all the homemade and neighbor gift ornaments. We love it. It has a lot of memories.

Big birthday number 13. Ymmy cake time

Allison and her warm fuzzy blanket.
