Happy seventeenth birthday Jarin!!!

I don't know how my kids keep getting older, yet I stay the same. I can not believe that this boy is 17 already. How did that happen?

He does not like pictures and he definately will not smile. This is as close as I got. Gotta love him.

This is Allison with her "Glee" choir. They did such a cute job. I know it is not the best picture.

Dance

We picked up our dance costumes on Friday. Ashley has been waiting for this one since her tap teacher told her class what the costumes would look like. She is dancing to I love Rock and Roll. She did not want to take it off and keeps asking to try it on. So fun.

I think the shorts are cute with their little bows. Dance is fun.

Allison had another competition this weekend and her team did their best performance ever and it paid off because they took first in the tap division. They were so excited.

Easter 2011

Jarin has been taking a foods class. He likes to make us stuff from the class. He was very excited to make us this entirely from scratch banana meringue pie. It was soooooo yummy and looks pretty too. Who says kids don't learn in school?

Jason is just recently into Pokeman. He got a game/card set from the Easter Bunny. He was very excited.

Ashley got a mini penguin pillow pet. She loves penguins. We don't know why.

This picture is completey out of sequence. I am not having good luck when it comes to blogging lately. Here is Jarin in his lettermen jacket. He worked super hard in wrestling over the past three years. This is a well earned jacket.

Okay. For some reason I have been having issues with my pictures opening up. Hopefully I have fixed that. Here it goes. Jason chillin on his birthday. He wanted crab legs but settled for a Mcdonalds #2.

Eleven candles. WOW. Can he really be eleven? He sure has made our life interesting for the past 11 years. The entire family agrees ours would be a pretty boring life without him.

Cat update. They really are a pain in the butt. But the kids still love them.

This is Allison's ending pose for her competition tap dance. She is on the right side hanging on to the baggage cart. They took second place at the last competition. It is a fun dance.

Ashley is finally a bike rider!!!!

We have tried several times to get Ashley to ride her bike. She has never wanted to. She has always been too scared. Last "Lagoon season" we talked her into riding the Wicked. After that she decided she could try to ride a bike. She asked for and got a bike for her birthday in November. She still struggled with the courage to ride. The other night she said, "I am going to ride my bike". So we went out. Here is everyone giving her advice.

She got on her bike and coasted down the street with her feet off to her side(not touching the ground). Someone yelled "pedal" so she did. And she has been riding her bike ever since. This is her great big happy smile.

They all rode up and down the street and around the block until it got dark. It was a fun family memory.

Here she is looking like a pro. I love this little girl.
