I did not know I had this picture. Here is Jason relaxing with Copper and Roxi. We miss Copper.

Okay. Life is just hard sometimes. My kids cried all night last night over the news of Copper. This morning our neighbor called to tell us that her dog died last night. His name was Duke and he was almost like our second dog. He came over to play and we sometimes took him for walks. He was Roxi's best friend and she would ask for him to come over and play. So we shed more tears again today. But it is like our neighbor (and Garth Brookes) said enduring the pain is worth the dance we got to share. We love you Duke.

Good-bye to a very good kitty

Today we found our sweet Copper Kitty laying peacefully on Allison's bedroom floor. We had a hard time believing he had passed away because we have thought that so many times before and he has always bounced back. But he was definately gone. He was an amazing kitty. When we first got him we took him to the vet. She told us he had a heart mummer and bad plaque and that he probably would have a short life. Well if 15 years is short for a cat then she was right. Sometimes he made me so mad. Like when he peed all over the shoes and made them stink, or pooped behind the TV. But he was such a constant in our lives. He was always there rubbing against your leg, or laying by you and purring his little heart out. He was our first family pet and he will be greatly missed.

Allison's new hair

Allison got her hair cut. She added some bangs and layers. Even Roxi loves it. Cute hair Alli!!!!

This is the back of Allison's hair. She got it layered and thinned out a lot. We think she looks way cute.

Jason is an orange belt

Jason went to his belt promotion tonight. It always amazes me how well he stays focused and conentrates.

Here are Jason's biggest fans. His proud sisters. I love it when my kids love each other.

Jason and all the other karate kids and instructors. He worked very hard and, as always, suprised his mom.

Here is the panel of judges who decide if you have passed on to the next belt.

Can you find the real animal among the stuffed ones? This is our poor copper kitty who is very old and sleeps alot. Especially on Allison's bed.

dare graduation

Allison with her dare diploma.
Allison shaking hands with officer Grey, Mr. V(principal) the city councilman and the chief of the West Jordan police.

Allison and Katie so happy to be graduating from D.A.R.E with such cute shirts. Dare is the drug awareness program they do at our school. They talk about drugs and their harmful affects. The kids complete a workbook and write an essay. They also pledge to not do drugs. It is a pretty neat program. Just a little personal note. I went to dare graduation with Ashley-6, Payson-6, Heidi-4, Landon-4, Addie-3, and Talan-just turned 3. That makes 6 in all!! They are all really good kids and they sat pretty quietly and were cute through the entire program. It is just I get a lot of looks as I walk through the school with six little kids trailing behind me.
